If they show all these 2006 reviews on TV, I can also do it!

1) Where did you begin 2006?
In some suburb of Warsaw, celebrating with my cousin and a lot of polish academics.
2) What was your status by Valentine’s Day?
Healthy
3) Were you in school (anytime this year)?
Graduated from the elite St. Wolfhelm Gymnasium and moved on to the elitist university of applied science in Venlo (FIHE = Fonty Internationale Hogeschool Economie).
5) Did you have to go to the hospital?
Yes, I actually had to. I even didn’t notice, after finding new friends during Carnival, that my nose was broken.
6) Did you have any encounters with the police?
See 5). The police-officer that has been called after the assault actually gave me a warning, because when he arrived I was just about to kick the jerk’s ass…
A week later I was sitting with the same police-officer on the police station to hand in a complaint.
7) Where did you go on holiday?
Last Christmas and New Years Eve I’ve spend in Warsaw, Poland. After graduation I visited the glorious country of the US of A for benefit of our nation. No, I didn’t meet Borat there…
It was really cool to meet all the people from my High-School year over there. I like!
8) What did you purchase that was over £500?
I am not very fond of the Pound. Euro, please! And to answer the question: No.
9) Did you know anybody who got married?
Well my host sister got engaged if that counts.
10) Did you know anybody who passed away?
Nobody I personally knew.
11) Have you run into anybody you left high school with?
It happens constantly. Some of them even study at Fontys too, so…
12) Did you move anywhere?
Not in the past 10 years (not counting the High-School year).
13) What sport events did you go to?
Hmmm, this year has been sports-wise rather impersonal. Just mentioning the world soccer championship for example… which happened entirely in the TV for me. Just the couches I was sitting on changed.
14) What concerts/shows did you go to?
I would say: the regular, local concerts, usually involving Dawson’s Crack. There was one irregular event though: I’ve seen my very first Broadway show. The Producers. And I learned a lesson there: Don’t be stupid, be a smarty, come and join the Nazi Party (No! Don’t!). My lawyer reminds me to repeat that do not endorse shitty brown political ideals.
15) Are you registered to vote?
Everybody is Germany is… yeah, I know. I am being a smart-ass again.
16) Who did you want to win Big Brother?
Big Brother!
17) Where do you live now?
Schwalmtal, in the beautiful valleys of the Niederrhein.
18) Describe your birthday.
I felt so decadent, I celebrated it even twice. First time on my actual birthday in a small circle, then “officially” one week-end later in Düsseldorf. The group had soccer-team dimensions and we successfully conquered the old town.
19) What’s the one thing you thought you would never do but did in 2006?
Dunno, so I’ll just say something wise, yet meaningless: Nothing is impossible!
20) What has been your favourite moment
Oh, there were so many… I haven’t finished putting them into a “greatness-order” yet.
21.) What’s something you learned about yourself?
That I don’t notice fractures.
22.) Any new additions to your family?
Yeah, new dog. Went from cute puppy to slobbering monster within 6months!
23.) What was your best month?
Pick any month between graduation and starting university (after the INTRO week of course *g*).
24.) What music will you remember 2006 by?
The official soccer-anthem, song by the Sportis. Even if you don’t like it, it has this great sing-along quality.
25) Who has been your best drinking buddy?
I am still undecided between the mirror and Stephan. There is no such a thing as Vodka on a Wednesday in somebody else’s kitchen!
26) Made new friends?
Yeah! Already started during Carnival, had more success at the FIHE though.
27) Best new friend?
There is enough love for everybody!
28) Favourite Night out?
I say that quite often, but it still counts: It’s all about the people!
29) Any regrets?
Nooo! I just regret some people can’t handle the truth… and I regret that innocent animals have to suffer because of that.
